In the mood for Spring with Dolce&Gabbana SS 12

i’m so excited for having created my first column ‘Yuri’s Corner’ for Swide. Its a weekly styling coloumn where i give tips on how best to wear your favoueite items of the SS12 Dolce&Gabbana collection. Have a look on Swide to check out some of my tips and tricks. For you, my blog readers, i have a few more pieces of advice.

Well, Spring has sprung and we’re all in the mood for something fresh and colourful. Here’s how to wear the amazing vegetable prints from the Dolce&Gabbana SS12 Collection.

For the FW13 show in February, i already started wearing snippets from the SS12 collection: a courgette print cropped jacket and black macramè maxi shorts.

Spring does not mean you need to banish black from your wardrobe. Here is how to work black during the day.

This corseted black dress is a Dolce&Gabbana classic. A bodycon dress should not be eveningwear only. Wear it with a leather and lace bomber jacket with jewel-encrusted buttons. Maximise the day look with a cute staw hat with intricate flower applications. Accessorise with nude Alexa pumps and a pony skin leopard print bag. And if you need to go out after work? Well take off the hat and the leather jacket and you’re instantly transformed into a cocktail hour goddess.

For alternatives, check out Yuri’s Corner on Swide Nothing says Spring more than flower print. On Swide i advise you how to wear a floral bon-ton ensemble, but flowers can also be casual.

A flower print shift dress is the perfect ticket for a spring look. This peony print version oozes with joy and positive energy. As the weather is still chilly, match it to a leather trench coat. Catch to birds with one stone: leather is a must have material this season, while a trench coat is timeless. To hone in one the colour play, accentuate the lovely spring palette of the dress with green bijoux and peony pink patent leather pumps. Of course a classic Mamma bag in black mutton is a must.

Whatever you choose to wear, and however you choose to wear it- one thing is a must: The Dolce Bag.
