Today I’m showing you a masculine look with feminine details. The Fall Winter Season was all about femininity, and some masculine tailoring, so here let me show you how to do it. The masculine part is all about the silhouette and the fit, it looks almost minimalist. For a masculine look start off with this coat, cream, collarless and very clean, cut wise, very chic. Wear it with a feminine blouse, a blue leopard print stretch charmeuse blouse. Blue is the new Dolce&Gabbana FW13 colour. Match it to skinny jeans, the “Pretty”fit works particularly well, it’s like a second skin and the hen is just at the ankle. Choose a large black shopper with this look- it contrasts the blue leopard print well. To maintain that feminine feel opt for lace peep toe booties.
The second look centres around a very feminine blouse. The chiffon ruffled bib has such lovely movement. In autumn I often wear jeans and in this Fall Winter collection there are so many beautiful things, bit the jeans are truly special. Wear this shirt with masculine trousers, with a straight leg. They’re perfect for a meeting at the office, and you’re downplaying the contrast between masculine and feminine. You can’t miss out on leopard, so just make it pop with an ipad cover. This look is very simple, so play with accessories. Add a leopard print pony skin Dolce Bag. And matching Alexa leo shoes. I love the Alexa pump, it looks so simple and streamlined and it gives you beautiful legs. If you fancy more accessories, I know I do, wear a pair of coin charm earrings, a blue leopard print trim scarf and a hair comb, to up the femininity.
You can take the scarf, when going to the office on sunny day, and tie it to your handbag, and when the evening comes and you’re pout for a drink, the fresh autumnal breeze picks up, there you are you can just wrap it round your neck.
Trend Review FW13 Womenswear: the luxurious Lady is back on Swide.
as told you, I love the Alexa pump, it looks so simple and streamlined and it gives you beautiful legs. Black python Alexa. As you can see the heel is very sexy and feminine, it looks great with most outfit.
As you know with masculine styling, my personal taste imposes me to add some giant accessories, for a more feminine and glamorous look. I love extravagant jewellery! LOL Many of my friends say that these bijoux look good on me, and not so much on other people. I think it’s just down to the habit of seeing them. For example, I like to wear this embellished necklace with bows with a blazer and cropped trousers with a masculine silhouette, I think it looks perfect and chic.
If you want to maintain the Baroque feel of the Dolce&Gabbana collection wear it with a headband and earrings with pink baroque roses. The jewellery is quite in your face, so to speak, so tie your hair up in a demure bun with our without an embellished hair tie. Here I created a more extravagant look (It was for my birthday party- the post is coming soon) and I matched it too baroque jewels for a feminine touch.
While here i weared Baroque mood for the Ss13 Dolce&Gabbana Fashion womens show, I wore the same jewellery but wore gold and silver brocade for a truly baroque concept. Jewellery really changes depending on what look you wear them with.
Have a go! Ciao
