The Dolce&Gabbana bouquet make up collection is as cute as candy and as addictive. The pastel palette is fresh and you. I love it, particularly the nailpolish. We decided to do a special article about it on Swide this week, and I decided to illustrate the backgrounds with my own watercolours. Have a look. Today it’s the last day of the fashion MONTH! As the last designers walk the Paris runways, I am already hard at work looking through every show from London, NY, Milan and Paris for the FW13 Trend review for Swide. I needed a break so I popped over to our trusty café next to the office for their refreshing and legendary Blanco herbal tea. What’s in it? Energising cinnamon, purifying mint and healthy hot water. You should try it too! @blancomilano
Super Trend review FW 13 will be on line for this Friday on swide. @ValentinaZannoni @MassimodiFelice Dacci dentro!
The Dolce&Gabbana after show parties are one of the events on the Milan Fashion Week calendar which the fashion jet-set most look forward too. Great music, beautiful venues, packed with A list celebs and always that familial feel which makes these parties feel more like a get together amongst friends than excuses for networking and posing. This season the paty was themed on the concept behind the SS12 campaigns, La Bella Estate Continue reading “A Gold-en evening at the Dolce&Gabbana after show party” »
The show was a roaring success- so once it ended I went back to the backstage to partake in a celebratory drink with Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana and the team.Bryan Boy was rushing because he had to head to the Missoni show, but i did get enough time with him to take a quick snape and offer him my courgette blazer: so he could have a vetable print suit! Although i have been working in Swide for 4 years, i always get emotional before the show, as though it was my first time! My day usually starts 4 hours before the show backstage at the Metropol Theatre. The creative director of the design team meets me to explain the concepts, mood and details of the collection. I in the mean time start thinking about how to explain them to our Swide readers. Continue reading “Discovering the FW13 Dolce&Gabbana Womenswear collection” »
With so many things to carry around with me on show day- the right bag needs to be a result of a very studied decision.
Accessories are the backbone of a good outfit. What should i go for? A mini Dolce Bag with polka dots and flowers? Or a spring like daisy print?
Ah and for the jewellery- I am in the mood to have some fun with these? I love pasta, but do i have the courage to wear it? Or should i wear my five-a-day round my neck?
It’s the Dolce&Gabbana Fashion Show on Sunday, and I don’t know what to wear! The usual sentence comes to mind: “A closet full of clothes and nothing to wear”. I of course have free reign of the Dolce&Gabbana showroom and I can choose whatever I want to wear for the fashion show. The SS12 collection was staggeringly beautiful, so I’m spoiled for choice.
Hmm… vegetable prints? Continue reading “A Seasonal Dilemma…#MFW” »
