Roses in the office
11/08/2011
Beautiful artificial flowers with a plastic butterfly- this is my creation.
Usually here at the office we’re swamped by papers, mettings, generally in a mess. But these flowers brightened the mood of the office, its like lounging in the park in spring time having a picnic. Continue reading “Roses in the office” »
Jae Yoo- Hotter than a bowl of Korean Udon
11/03/2011
Who needs a clutch bag when you have a designer microphone?
Domenic Dolce’s and Stefano Gabbana’s forthcoming trip to Korea, and my involvement in the organisation, lead me to thinking back to Men’s Fashion week and my amazing interview with up and coming Korean model Jae Yoo.
Considering I’ve just been appointed official interpreter for the designers during the Korea trip, its quite fitting that I post something in Korean this week. In June, the Swide team caught wind that the designers had cast Jae Yoo, an up and coming Korean model for the D&G show. I jumped at the chance to interview him, in Korean of course- who wouldn’t want to have a friendly chat with an attractive young man? Continue reading “Jae Yoo- Hotter than a bowl of Korean Udon” »
The Dolce&Gabbana Showrooms transformed into a village piazza market?
10/26/2011
My days never cease to surprise me, after all, when you work for Dolce&Gabbana you should always expect the unexpected.
My day had begun well, I had just been given the opportunity of going to do some “window” shopping in the editorials showroom to borrow some Dolce&Gabbana clothes to wear at Paris fashion week. I felt like one of those celebs who get free reign of the collection. On my way back to the office, after spending a lovely morning pulling runway looks, I walked into the retail showroom and was greeted by this. Roses from Mr. Big
10/24/2011
Birthday. One can’t be forever young, but my aim has never been that anyways. I want to be forever happy… with people that I love around me, with a career that I’m passionate about, with a wardrobe full of surprises & vintage pieces & runway looks and heels and bags and accessories and you know… with a bouquet of roses from Mr.Big waiting for me in my office. My Portrait from Yoo Min’s Perspective
10/21/2011
‘About A Boy’ by Nick Horny happens to be one of my favourite novels of all times. Although I have watched the movie many times, I still prefer the book itself. Hugh Grant does a great job portraying the main character but the movie doesn’t live up to Nick Hornby’s irony and humour. Continue reading “My Portrait from Yoo Min’s Perspective” »
I caught Sam Webb in bed thanks to an Italian espresso.
10/08/2011
When you work for Dolce&Gabbana, even fetching coffee can turn out to be an exciting experience.
During Milan Men’s Fashion week in June, Giampaolo Sgura shot a fashion shoot for Magazine Antidote featuring the FW11 Dolce&Gabbana men’s shoes, with the exceptional collaboration of Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana as stylist. Continue reading “I caught Sam Webb in bed thanks to an Italian espresso.” »

Grilled Yuri Back At Work
09/19/2011
Ok, I wasn’t very convinced when my friends told me to stop lying under the sun all day because I wanted to get the perfect tan. Yet when I got back to the office the other day, I saw that I had exaggerated it a bit that I kind of looked like a ‘grilled Yuri’. But then again, the golden pointed Miu Miu’s went very well with my tan.
Top 3 styling tips with a tanned skin: Continue reading “Grilled Yuri Back At Work” »
