I’m quite health conscious, and I’m generally quite careful about what I eat and put into my body. The most important meal of the day for me is breakfast. I prepare a healthy home made smoothie with fresh fruit and vegetables. It’s the best way to get my five-a-day. Plus its low in calories and high in nutriments. The ingredients are: fresh sicilian oranges, blueberries, kiwis, carrots, strawberries, apples, tomatoes, ginger. I also put half a glass of orange juice and put everything in the mixer. This massive smoothie gives me the energy I need to tackle the day.

We had a drink at Bar Martini one night with some of the office crew. We were actually waiting for Bryan Boy to join us who was in Milan for a special project he did with us at Dolce&Gabbana (stay tuned to find out- i’m sworn to secrecy for the mo). In the end he didn’t turn up, so from quiet drinks it turned into a bit of a long night with the girls… and boy! During Milan’s design week #salonedelmobile #swidesign I took part in the @dolcegabbana event to celebrate the release of their first ever limited edition bicycle: Bike My City. The even consisted in cycling around Milan on the eye-catching bikes. I love the wind in my hair and on my face when I cycle- so I couldn’t miss out on this event! For Ss12 Dolce&Gabbana have launched a new 50s inspired collection called Matt Silk. It comes in 6 lovely colours… but how can a girl wear them at all once? Well here is how! The collection ooze a feminine representation inspired by the women in iconic Italian movies from the 50s.
For the presentation of these glasses on Swide I had prepared some watercolours. I liked the fluid pastel effect with these glasses.
